More than a half-dozen faith groups will participate in this year's World Religion Day event.
Hosted by Unity and Diversity Sault Ste. Marie and Sault Ste. Marie's Baha'i community, the gathering happens Jan. 18 at Algoma's Water Tower Inn at 2 p.m.
Representatives from the city's aboriginal, Baha'i, Islamic, Jewish, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Muslim communities will attend.
Prayers and music will be featured, a release said.
The event's aim is to encourage interfaith understanding and harmony by emphasizing the common denominators found in all religions.
