Description
The Baha'is of Grand Junction Colorado are hosting World Religion Day on January 18, 2009. This event at Lincoln Park Barn will be set up similar to a fair. It will be held in a large building at the barn, open and free to the public from 1p-4p. Attendees will be given a hand out at the door with a description about World Religion Day. The event begins with prayers from several religions. There will be small gifts for all attendees, balloons and door prizes. Tables/booths will be set up representing many various religions with hand outs of information. Activities for children are on-going, with refreshments for all, a Navajo Sand Painting demonstration and a drum circle.
