The Baha’i Faith Center is hosting two programs Sunday as part of the day’s celebration. The first is the regular service at 10:30 a.m. featuring prayers and readings from Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu, Christian, Islamic and Baha’i faiths.

A second program is set for 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. with prayers, faith information booths and speakers from the different faith groups. Representatives from the groups will also participate in a panel discussion of the question of “What do you feel your faith has to offer to the spiritualization of humankind?”

Among the scheduled panelists are: Eshwar Chaitanya, of the Datta Temple and Hall of Trinity; the Rev. Phil Woodland, minister of visitation at University United Methodist Church; Omaya Jazairli, of Islamic Center of Baton Rouge; and Cheryl Johnson, auxiliary board member of Baha’is of Louisiana.
